Bloorview Research Institute

The Bloorview Research Institute is dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families through research. The Research Institute conducts research focused on enhancing care, developing assistive technologies, and evaluating all the barriers restricting inclusion of children with disabilities. The Institute’s staff is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of scientists whose expertise includes medicine, surgery, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, engineering, epidemiology, biostatistics, psychology and more.
